According to the Site Commander of Lilama 10 Joint Stock Company, the rotor of Unit 1 has a total weight of over 400 tons and was installed into the stator using a 500-ton dual crane.

Before installing the rotor, Lilama 10 had completed the installation of the turbine, stator, and the powerhouse crane. The rotor and stator of the generator for Unit 1 underwent insulation and high-voltage testing in accordance with current standards.

The preparation and final inspection stages were carried out by Lilama 10's staff and workers with the utmost professionalism, care, and a strong sense of duty and responsibility.

With Lilama 10's successful installation of the rotor for Unit 1 of the Ialy Hydropower Plant Expansion Project, this marks a significant milestone in ensuring the schedule for the testing phase of Unit 1. This achievement supports the goal of having Unit 1 operational by November 2024.

Earlier, the Site Commander of Lilama 10 reported that the working wheel and stator of Unit 1 were successfully installed by Lilama 10's staff and workers at the project site on July 14, 2024, and July 20, 2024.
