When conflicts arise, the gas supply is disrupted and increasingly scarce. European countries are struggling to find alternative energy sources. Hydrogen emerges as an ideal solution, being independent of imports, emission-free, and applicable to various industrial processes such as power plants, aluminum production, steel manufacturing, chemical production, or fertilizer synthesis. It can be utilized across a wide range of engines, including aircraft engines.

LILAMA 10 undertakes the manufacturing, assembly, and packaging of electrolyzer module equipment for the West Coast Green Hydrogen Production Plant and the NEOM Green Hydrogen Project

With a macroscopic vision, Vietnam Machinery Installation Corporation (LILAMA) has strategically positioned itself as one of the world's pioneering companies participating in the global green hydrogen production chain.

Tasked by LILAMA, Lilama Corporation (LILAMA 10) successfully completed the manufacturing, assembly, and packaging of 02 electrolyzer module equipment for the West Coast Green Hydrogen Production Plant in California, USA.

In August 2023, at the Mechanical Engineering and Equipment Manufacturing Plant in Hai Duong (LILAMA 10) – a subsidiary of Vietnam Machinery Installation Corporation, 02 electrolyzer modules, each with a capacity of 20MW producing 10 tons of hydrogen per day, were handed over to the partner Thyssenkrupp Nucera.

Following the successful delivery of the 02 modules, LILAMA and LILAMA 10 have extended their partnership with Thyssenkrupp Nucera, signing a contract for the supply of materials, manufacturing, and assembly for 110 electrolyzer module equipment for the NEOM Green Hydrogen Project in Saudi Arabia. This project is the world's largest green hydrogen initiative.

Collaborating with Thyssenkrupp NUCERA has propelled LILAMA and LILAMA 10 into becoming the first Vietnamese companies to manufacture electrolyzer module equipment for green hydrogen production plants. Engaging in the production of these modules has also opened up new avenues for LILAMA and LILAMA 10 in the business landscape.

After a period of focused and professionally disciplined construction efforts, the engineers and workers of LILAMA and LILAMA 10 have strived to overcome every challenge to achieve the project's goals in safety, quality, and schedule. Notably, the collective workforce of LILAMA and LILAMA 10 has reached 1.5 million safe working hours, marking the dedication and efforts of all staff and workers on the site, contributing to the safety and success of the NEOM Green Hydrogen Project.

High-ranking leaders from Thyssenkrupp NUCERA Group visited and worked at the Mechanical Engineering and Equipment Manufacturing Plant in Hai Duong (LILAMA 10).

Recently, during the visit to the production facilities of LILAMA and LILAMA 10, the senior leadership of Thyssenkrupp NUCERA Group from Germany evaluated the working conditions, safe and professional working environment, product quality, and the progress of the NEOM Green Hydrogen Project. They acknowledged that the conditions are being maintained and continually improved. This once again affirms that LILAMA and LILAMA 10 are fully capable of expanding cooperation with partners in current and future green hydrogen projects.
