As part of its strategic investment program to strengthen capabilities in precision mechanical manufacturing, large-format CNC machining, and the machining of oversized and heavy-duty components, LILAMA 10 has commissioned the TAIKAN HG-M32120H CNC Gantry Milling Machine.

This large-scale Gantry Machining Center is engineered to handle workpieces with substantial dimensions and high load requirements, further enhancing LILAMA 10’s capacity to deliver high-precision machining solutions for demanding industrial applications.

With its modern machinery and equipment, combined with extensive experience in mechanical equipment manufacturing, machining, and installation, the investment in the TAIKAN G-M32120H significantly expands LILAMA 10’s machining capabilities, particularly for products serving the energy, heavy industry, power generation, and hydropower sectors.

Large-Format Machining Capacity – Engineered for Oversized and Heavy-Duty Components

The TAIKAN G-M32120H features a highly rigid gantry-type machine structure, specifically designed for machining large, heavy workpieces that demand high levels of dimensional accuracy and machining stability.

The machine is equipped with a 3,200 × 12,000 mm worktable, with a published load capacity of up to 15,000 kg/m², and maximum X/Y/Z machining travels of 12,500/4,800/3,000 mm, respectively.

In particular, the 12,500 mm X-axis travel enables the machining of exceptionally long components on a single machine. For workpieces that are dimensionally compatible and can be securely fixtured, this extensive machining range can reduce the number of setups, minimize alignment and adjustment time, and improve consistency and dimensional accuracy across multiple machining locations.

This represents a significant advantage when machining large mechanical components such as bearing housings, machine beds, equipment bases, heavy-duty industrial machine components, and structural components for energy equipment.

Milling, Drilling and Precision Machining of Large Components

The TAIKAN G-M32120H is equipped with a BT50 spindle taper, a spindle speed range of 20–4,500 rpm, spindle power of 30–37 kW, and a published maximum torque of 1,511 N·m.

The FANUC 0i-MF PLUS (1A) CNC control system, combined with the rigid gantry structure and heavy-duty guideway system, provides a stable platform for a wide range of machining operations, including:
